my first blanket

I finished my blanket last week. It's about 20x23 inches long. There are holes. There is a stripe where I knitted 8 rows instead of 6. The end where I casted off is coming undone and I have to go back and fix it, but it's done. 

I love it. It's imperfect but it's all mine. I'm still amazed that I created this out of 3 skeins of yarn and size 10 knitting needles. I casted on about 75 stitches using the long tail cast on and just went crazy. Overall I think this took me about 2 weeks to knit from start to finish. 

It's small but it's the perfect size to curl up with on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea. I love knitting.
