my ugly sweater collection

On Sunday, Justin and I made a trip to the thrift store to get him some new work shoes. Mission accomplished. I also walked out with two ugly sweaters (including the one in these photos) and a new pair of shoes for myself. I got home and counted all of my sweaters, neatly hung in my closet... 10. I have ten ugly sweaters. I'm not really sure why they're so important to me, but I know that now they're all I'm going to be wearing until spring.

I want to document my sweaters over the next few months. You've already seen a couple of them here & here, but let's just call this 1/10.

Tidbits of September & October in Instagram photos.

Coffee drinks, pumpkin finding, window writing, sorting through things while packing, breaking out my ugly sweater collection, giving Justin a haircut, sunsets, unearthing Adrian's from the freezer, a few good makeup days, and copious amounts of apple cinnamon tea. That's what I've been up to as of late.

Amaro, Valencia, Sierra, and Willow are my most used filters.

I am forever in love with details, and this is my favourite season to photograph.

I took this in the side yard of our apartment, which is right next to the parking lot. I could see people watching me from their windows, probably thinking "Great. The new neighbor girl is crazy." C'est la vie! I promised myself that I would take pictures this week because I haven't picked up my camera in almost a month, and I fulfilled my promise.

Life lately has been all about unpacking. We're getting furniture delivered from various family members in two weeks so we have to make sure the apartment is box free (or mostly anyway). It's almost cold enough to break out the winter coat, hats and mittens, and I'll be honest, I turned the heat on a few nights ago.

October has been weird but very very good. I can't promise when I'll post next, but I promise I will return.

it's been a while.

I've pretty much abandoned this blog, but with good reason... JUSTIN AND I HAVE AN APARTMENT, but we don't have internet yet. So things are going to be pretty quiet around here until we get it hooked up. I hope you're all well!
